LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Beginner/Intermediate Golf Camp - South Germantown Driving Range
This half-day camp is just the ticket for kids 6-14 years old who have expressed interest in and/or shown a talent for golf, but arent quite ready to play a full round. With the help of a Montgomery County Golf Academy instructor, campers will practice putting, chipping, driving and using irons and woods Monday-Thursday at the Driving Range. On Friday, theyll compete in a small tournament at a nearby golf course. Itll be a blast for juniors, and a great way to develop the skills needed to start playing golf with the family. My daughter and son thrived at this camp. They are both active children who would rather be outdoors than inside. Midwest Elite Soccer Camp is a four day residential soccer experience held at Hamline University in St. Paul, Minnesota. It is for high school aged female soccer players who are serious about playing college soccer. Our mission is to provide high school athletes with the opportunity to be coached and evaluated by a wide variety of colleges while exposing players to the inner workings of the college recruiting & admissions process and life inside a college soccer program. 651-328-9383

Robotics Vehicles - College Prep Middle
Robotics Vehicles – (6th - 8th Grade) Students will build Vehicles using Mindstorms robotics equipment. Students will advance on their programming skills and manipulate the Vehicles with coding on a laptop. There is a limit to 16 children for the class. The curriculum for the Robotics Club is different for each quarter, allowing for new material to be added per quarter. But the different curriculum also allows for new students to join in without having had previous Robotics experience. Students do not need to bring anything to the Club. Join Summit Schools staff and our community partners for a day on of fun, interactive activities at Learning Extensions Camp, also known as In-Service Day Camp. -Theme: Spring Break Science. Well explore, create, experiment, discover, and engineer all in the name of science! -Experiment with soil science and composting methods as the C.R. Solid Waste Agency teaches us about landfill engineering. -With the Cedar Rapids Water Department, well test water quality, PH levels, and more as we learn about the science of water. -Summits own art teacher, Miss Carol, will have us discovering the science of art through messy and fun art experiments. -Alpaca Fiber Arts will teach us all about alpacas and llamas as we create felted take-home soap and/or coasters. Registration is open through Thursday morning, March 24. Sibling & referral discounts available! This exciting event is open to ALL STUDENTS K-5th Grades!
