Campers will visit the local Build-A-Bear store on Monday to create their own teddy bears. The rest of the week will be spent creating accessories and other items that go along with their individual bears. Campers will spend quality time with popular Old Trail teachers and friends incorporating stories and drama, arts and crafts, songs and games, social studies and research, science and exploration, Math, and Language arts into all their explorations. Emphasis on teamwork, celebration of individual growth and creativity will make this camp exciting and memorable. Campers should wear comfortable play clothes and be ready to go, go, go! Longhorns Tennis Camp - Longhorns Tennis Camp
The Longhorns Tennis Camp will be conducted on The University of Texas campus in Austin by carefully selected instructors who are experienced at working with young players. These instructors include college coaches, high school coaches and collegiate players. Longhorns Tennis Camp is open to girls and boys, ages 9 and above, of all ability levels. Campers will be housed in Castillian, a privately owned highrise dormitory near campus. Each room has a private bath and refrigerator. Experienced, mature male and female staff provide 24-hour supervision. All employees have passed a criminal background check as well as a child protection training conducted by The University of Texas Human Resources Department. Drum! Percussion Camp for Absolute Beginners - MacPhail Center for Music - Minneapolis
Experience the fun of laying down a basic rock groove or the joy and energy of a large ensemble of mallet instruments. In this fantastic new camp, students will get a chance to try a variety of percussion instrument while building basic playing skills that will help prepare them to play in their school band or orchestra. Any student can join this camp, even if you have no previous experience playing an instrument. After 5 fun-filled days packed with lots of playing time on a variety of instruments, students will have a chance to show off their new skills for family and friends at a recital at the end of camp.
