5, 6, 7, 8! This camp is all about creative movement in a playful camp environment. If you ever wanted to find out what dance is all about or if you already enjoy it, you will love what we will do together this week. We will concentrate on the study of ballet, creative movement, jazz, and hip-hop dancing. Dance, music, creative expression, and lots of fun will all be a part of our time together. Training is age appropriate and station based, allowing both beginner and advanced players to participate in all skill and drill work. Campers will have the opportunity to work with position areas on both offense and defense. The camp will be run by the football staff at West Chester University along with many current members of the Golden Rams team. Campers will get the opportunity to learn from and interact with members of the nationally successful Golden Rams football team. This is a great opportunity for campers to learn from players who are currently performing the same skills they will teach. The Little Sluggers (Ages 5-6) is designed to introduce your child to the game of baseball. Our intermediate camp (Ages 7-8) includes fundamental skill-building activities, like throwing, hitting, bunting, fielding, pitching and base running. The Advanced camp (Ages 9-11) builds upon the basics and incorporates team play, advanced base running and other techniques that could be used on the field. On the final day, all players will get the opportunity to judge their improvement by playing a game.
