Calling all flutes, oboes, clarinets and bassoons! Chamber Music is a fun and effective way to improve your playing skills. In rehearsals and master classes well cover a variety of topics like rhythm, phrasing, listening, intonation, projection and blend. In addition, students will receive instrument specific instruction from MacPhail faculty and local teaching artists. Ladies and gentlemen it is that time again. The bus is ready. The camp is ready! and I know your ready for summer. Go to Lakeann.org and get yourself registered by paying your deposit. The deposit is $85 if paid by March 15th, it moves up to $125 if paid after March 15th. Once you have registered call SCCC and let us know (586) 781-2266. It is going to be an amazing summer. Brought to you by the C.A.R.E. Actor (creative awareness responsive education) program, comes alive as we act out storybooks and make our own costumes and props using a variety of art materials! In his camp, students will experience how the theater arts and fine arts go hand in hand while discussing topics such as respect, kindness, and peace through storybooks. This class will have a final presentation on the last day of camp. Come join us this summer! Up-Cycled Art - Bridget Mayak & Cheryl Capezzuti - Touchstone Center for Crafts
Explore innovative ways to incorporate common household materials, found objects, and recyclables into fantastic art! We will focus on the processes as well as the products of creating both two- and three-dimensional pieces of art. Part of everyday will be spent making puppets out of recycled materials and producing a short performance at the end of the week. This promises to be a very busy and creative week! Uniform top/jersey will be provided by the school, but players will be required to purchase skirt/short for match play. Color/style information will be provided by coach.
