Wondering how to keep your kids entertained and engaged during Thanksgiving Break? The Vail Rec Department has you covered! School's Out Camp is from 7:30 to 5:30 on November 21, 22, and 23. Teen Boot Camp - Rockford, IL
Do you have or know a hard to reach teen? Want your teen to learn discipline, teamwork, and respect? If so, bring him/her to my Teen Bootcamp! I'm an Army vet who knows the importance of these things. Let me teach your teen drill and ceremony, how to change a tire, how to communicate without using technology, and countless other important life skills. You See Dirt, We See Art! - Emma Davidson - Touchstone Center for Crafts
Take a step into a whimsical world of creation and imagination when you enter Touchstones enchanted forest. You will embark on a journey between worlds, as we create beautiful art from nature. Whether you are painting with mud or building a collaborative sculpture, this week of wonder and intrigue is one you dont want to miss! Working outside and in the studio, individually and collaboratively, you will end this week with greater art making skills and a better understanding of our surrounding world. Emma Davidson earned her BFA from Savannah College of Art and Design (SCAD). Between 2012 and 2015, she was on staff at Touchstone Center for Crafts and worked as a teaching artist for various organizations in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. Currently, Emma is living Juneau, Alaska, where she is enjoying a year-long, dual art and teaching residency at the Canvas. Her artwork has exhibited in several states and are part of SCADs permanent collection. 724-329-1370

Coffee House Concert (19214F) - Cary Academy
Step into the shoes of a Coffee Shop performer! Explore how to perform through the eyes of a musician as you learn the fundamentals of guitar, singing, drums, keys, and other instruments. Campers will learn to sing, play common chord progressions and use their talents to perform in under a coffee shop setting. Creative Writing: Imagination Station - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
As kids grow and mature, they sometimes begin to lessen the value of imagination within the context of their writing. This workshop will teach your children appropriate methods by which they can explore creative writing in academic and non-academic settings. Most importantly, it will remind them to value and nurture their imaginations. Activities will include journaling, community creativity circles, character creation, short story drafting, and more.
