2016 JJVA Summer Camps - Jacksonville, FL
VOLLEY STARS CAMP | Ages 5-8 years old. Volley Stars Camp focuses on motor skills, movement skills, ball skills and basic volleyball skills for the youngest players. Campers learn with a lighter ball and a camp t-shirt is included. All Volley Stars Camps are for 3 days only. Monday through Wednesday | 3 Day Camp Only | Hours: 9am - 12pm | Camp Price: $95 per session | Weeks 1 thru 10 POSITION CAMP | Ages 13-15 and 16-18 years old. This camp allows players to choose training in the skills of one or two speciﬁc positions. We had SO much fun last year we decided to do it again!!!! Sign your kiddo's up for our 2nd annual Fit Kid Camp! Camp will run from June 27-July 1 from 9-11 daily at Anderson Dean Park. Tap for Beginners (Youth) - The Little Theatre of Alexandria
This course is designed as an introductory course for children who are interested in trying tap for the first time or would like to work on their technique and tap vocabulary. In this class the students will learn the basics of the American Musical Theatre tap dance style, as well as choreography to at least one song. Students will learn basic tap terminology along with tap performing techniques which will provide the student with a well-rounded knowledge of tap dance. This class is designed for 2nd-8th grade students. INSTRUCTOR MICHAEL PAGE graduated from Christopher Newport University with a Bachelors degree in Theater, focusing on Musical Theater Performance, Directing, Dance/Choreography, and Lighting. He has been very active for the past 10 years in the Alexandria theater community, working with theaters such as; MVCCT, PCP, ACCT, and LTA. He has directed, choreographed, and fight choreographed children and adults alike.
