What is Youth Councils? Youth Councils is a three day retreat specifically for Jr. High, High School and college age youth to be challenged and strengthened in their relationship with Jesus Christ. Who can attend Youth Councils? We have two tracks to set up so that we can tailor everything to the specific needs of your youth. To attend the Jr. High Track, youth must be in 6th, 7th or 8th grade by April 10, 2015. In order to be in the High School Track, youth need to be in 9th grade-age 25 by that same date. When is Youth Councils 2015? Youth Councils 2015 is being held from April 10-12, 2015 at Wonderland Camp & Conference Center. What is the theme for Youth Councils 2015? The theme is RISE ABOVE, and it’s based on Colossians 3:1 (NASB): “Therefore if you have been raised up with Christ, keep seeking the things above, where Christ is, seated at the right hand of God." Our Fashion Campers Will: Develop their own brand and logo Learn to use a sewing machine Drape a garment (like on "Project Runway") Pick fabrics and colors Complete a sewn garment for themselves Learn to walk a runway Have a professional photoshoot Participate in an art exhibit and fashion show, at end of week ** Campers will take a field trip at mid week ** Campers will go to the park each day ** Campers should bring a healthy bag lunch 347-295-0022

All five senses will be used as we do indoor and outdoor art projects. Students will discover how much they can see, taste, hear, touch, and smell art! The class will be exploring with color, texture, and other different art mediums. Much science is worked into their work as well as both small and some large motor skills. Topeka Camp is a half day camp for Boys & Girls in grades K-7 who want to learn the techniques of the game and also be introduced to the tactical components of the game. The training environment is fun-filled and challenging. Group will be split by grades. 785-864-7897
Adventure Sailing M,W,F ($215 for 1 week, Members) - Nantucket Yacht Club
Please select a minimum of one week. The class, which meets 3 days a week, will have a distinct goal for each day: Long Sail Day - try to sail as far as possible from the club using wind direction, current/tide forecast, and navigational aides. During the following class the student will chart their course on a chart in the Sail Room with pins and yarn, and we can compare progress week to week. Star Chart Day - Students identify skills from the star chart they want to achieve (Anchoring, knots, upwind sailing, etc), and finally Catamaran Day! Students may take this course for a maximum of 4 weeks, and class may not be held if less than 2 children are signed up. The goal of Adventure Sailing is to accumulate the skills for the student to check out a Rhodes 19 on their own. (Note: Adventure Sailing will not be held during Race Week.) 508-228-1400
