Join Summit Schools staff and our community partners for a day on of fun, interactive activities at Learning Extensions Camp, also known as In-Service Day Camp. -Theme: Spring Break Science. Well explore, create, experiment, discover, and engineer all in the name of science! -Experiment with soil science and composting methods as the C.R. Solid Waste Agency teaches us about landfill engineering. -With the Cedar Rapids Water Department, well test water quality, PH levels, and more as we learn about the science of water. -Summits own art teacher, Miss Carol, will have us discovering the science of art through messy and fun art experiments. -Alpaca Fiber Arts will teach us all about alpacas and llamas as we create felted take-home soap and/or coasters. Registration is open through Thursday morning, March 24. Sibling & referral discounts available! This exciting event is open to ALL STUDENTS K-5th Grades! The All-Star Camp is for the serious ballplayer aged 13-18. Each player will run through a professionally-run showcase workout where he will get an opportunity to display his speed, agility, work ethic, offensive and defensive skills. Each player will receive an individual player evaluation from his coach at the end of camp.
