This camp will focus on teaching and fine tuning passing and defensive skills. This includes liberos as well as any player who plays defense or who is in serve receive. Space limited to 48 campers. Please RSVP on Eventbrite Come out to our spring campaign soft launch. Hear from students, families, dancers, and staff about new initiatives that will connect, engage, and empower youth and the wider Baltimore community. The Baltimore Dance Crews Project is excited to launch Spring Forward - a campaign to support BDCP youth. Our goal is to raise $20,000 between March 18th and May 14th for BDCP programs. Has your child or teen ever dreamed of flying — the amazing freedom, the fun, the excitement? Join professional teachers of aerials arts and acrobatics for our exciting camps! Open to kids ages 4-18, (different age groups available) campers are invited to Frequent Flyer's Aerial Dance Studio to learn skills on trapeze, aerial fabric, sling, acrobatics and so much more. Campers will work to combine dance, theater and improvisation to cultivate the skills necessary to become a performing artist. Introduction to Sports Performance - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
Participants in this session will explore and learn sport and athletic performance methods including but not limited to strength, power, explosiveness, speed, quickness, agility, and endurance. Students will be taught multiple exercises, techniques, and routines that can be useful in developing a solid foundation in performance training. They will be exposed to isometric, isotonic, and isokinetic muscular contractions. All attendees will be tested on several different athletic performance measurements and given their results at the conclusion of the sessions, therefore providing areas in which they can improve in the future. Coach Joel Clem is Brebeuf Jesuits Strength and Conditioning Coach, Wellness Center Coordinator, and Physical Education faculty member. During his time as the strength and conditioning coach for Brebeufs athletic teams, he has trained State Championship volleyball, soccer, and hockey teams. He has also trained State Runner-Up football, baseball, soccer, and golf teams. Coach Clem has helped mold over 50 Brebeuf Jesuit student-athletes into collegiate athletes, including over a dozen competing at the Division I level. 3175247050.0
