Girls Only! Day Hiking - The Evergreen School
This 4-day week will include two days of moderate hiking, followed by a more leisurely day outside, and will culminate in an early start to accomplish our most rigorous hike of the week on Friday. Anyone who identifies as a girl may join us for this relaxing and invigorating week of hiking. Come spend Seattles first week of summer hiking some of the best trails and mountains within an hour of the city. Students must wear shoes appropriate for hiking and bring a lunch and a full water bottle as well as a swim suit each day. Optional, but students may also bring a journal and camera. 206-957-1533
Pampered Pets - Lower School
Calling all kids who love pets! This camp combines many different mediums of art as campers learn canvas painting by completing a portrait of their pet. They also learn the art of mosaics while creating a picture frame for a lovable animal. Campers also earn about pottery painting and glazing techniques as they personalize a bowl for their pet. Mini Camp Weekly A.M. Session - Rice University Tudor Fieldhouse
Sharpen up all of your skills with this 5 day morning session mini camp. Each day there is a focus on a different skill. Attend all week and you get to work on all aspects of the game of volleyball in a fun and competitive environment. This camp is designed for the beginner as well as intermediate volleyball players. Jr. Golf Camp (May 23 - 27 8am - 930am) - Indian Creek Golf Club
The Instructional sessions will run for 90 minutes a day Mon. – Fri. 8:00 am to 9:30 am Lessons will include putting, short game, full swing, bunker play, rules, etiquette and on course experience, plus games and fun! Each participant will receive a Indian Creek logoed tee gift.
Ocean Explorers (Week 3 AM) - Lore & Lures - NESS
Have fun learning about fish and fishing while using maps, engineering, fisheries research, and innovative design while constructing a fishing rig. Use dip nets, a cast net, rod & reel, and fish traps to provide background for biological observations. Look to the past to explore the ocean lore of mermaids, sea monsters, and giant squid as well as glacial and fresh water influence.
