Each night will include gathering around the campfire for songs, skits and an exciting story that teaches a Bible truth. In this class, students will explore a variety of different kinds of maps. By playing geography games and participating in fun activities, students will create a variety of maps, including cartograms, choropleths, dot maps, proportional symbol maps, maps with isolines, and flow maps. The philosophy behind the program is to teach basic skills and fundamentals, develop athletic skills, make new friends, and most importantly have fun! The program stresses good sportsmanship at all times. All equipment will be provided. This is a good program to put your child in if theyre baseball, football, basketball, and/or hockey players. Many of the physical skills worked on during the camp will crossover to those sports. All equipment is provided. The camp is coached by Stoughton High School Coach Josh Wollin and assistants. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please contact the Recreation Department for late registration availability.
