Do you like to be active? Do you want to be more active? Are you looking for an alternative to an organized sport, but still want to be part of a team? Are you interested in keeping in shape for a fall sport? Most of all, do you want to have fun? Then this high-energy boot camp is for you! If, that is, you have the right attitude. -- This boot camp is designed specifically for developing young bodies and minds, with a fun (and safe) mixture of body weight exercises, running and cardio, partner and group exercises, games and obstacle courses. All movements will help build coordination, balance, and motivation. Stretching before and after exercise is emphasized, and mindfulness and yoga techniques will be integrated each day. (And did we mention the music?) -- All participants need is a good pair of tennis shoes, comfortable workout clothes, a water bottle, and a positive attitude! No other equipment necessary. Science Level 2 Review - Ensworth High School
This course reviews and assesses mastery of the high school core skills as applied to one fundamental topic from each of the Level 2 trimesters. From the physics trimester the topic is projectile motion, from the chemistry trimester the topic is stoichiometry, and from the biology trimester the topic is natural selection. Drama Camp, Week 3 - Kings Christian Academy
Have a budding thespian in your family? This two-week program will give kids an opportunity to explore the multifaceted world of drama. Students are sure to have a blast playing daily improvisational games. After learning some basic acting skills, they will get hands-on experience developing a character. They will also be able to try their hands at many of the various aspects of theatre, including directing, stagecraft, costume design, stage make-up, playwriting, and… stage combat!
