In this rigorous, half-day camp, youll learn the form and style of the test--which was completely redesigned as of March 2016--as well as the essential content and strategies for approaching each question on the critical reading and writing portions of the SAT. You will learn how to recognize the types of questions asked on the reading passages, become a more critical reader, and identify the evidence on which your answers are based. For the writing section, we will review the most commonly tested grammar rules and skills as well as learn and practice what it takes to write an outstanding essay, which is now optional and follows a completely different format from the previous version of the SAT. Up to three fun filled days (Monday, 12/28; Tuesday, 12/29 and Wednesday, 12/30 - you pick which day(s) you want to be here) with horses for those 13 to 17 years of age. No previous riding experience necessary. All riders, no matter their experience level will have fun playing in our indoor arena with our holiday trail course. The course can be ridden a number of different ways enabling the camper to build on their riding skills no matter where they are starting from. Campers will also be helping with some part of the day-to-day care of the horses and ponies that live here at Meadowsweet Ranch and each day will include some educational time in our heated club room. Breaks and lunch will be enjoyed in our heated club room also.

The theme for our camp is “Withholding Nothing” where we will focus on encouraging young people to present their lives as a living sacrifice unto God (Romans 12:1). The preachers who will be ministering at our camp are brother Amado Huizar (SoCal Youth President, UPCI) and Pastor Javier Orozco (Rios de Agua Viva Rialto, UPCI). In addition to worship and the preaching of God's word, there will be breakout sessions to strengthen our young people”s relationship with God and guide them to finding their calling in ministry.
