The Preseason Faceoff Clinic will focus around the three fundamentals for youth to advanced level players; technique, repetition, and competition. The face-off clinic will teach the players how to hold the stick properly, feet/stance alignment, stick alignment, and primary/counter moves. Specific face-off drills and advanced skill work performed at the college and MLL level will also be incorporated throughout the clinic. The first day will focus mainly on face-off instruction and repetition. The second day will focus mainly on repetition and competition. Girls Field Hockey - Brookwood School
Fall 2016 will be here before we know it and Field Hockey Tune-Up gives the foundation to be ready for the season. Skill development, fitness training, and teamwork are hallmarks of this established program. Basic skills, stick handling, rules, and field positions are taught through drills and game play. Rigorous conditioning, "eating to play," and strategies for rest and recovery are all part of the program; athletes learn to prepare not just for a single season, but for a life of physical activity. Coach Mike Wellington teaches physical education at Brookwood School. He serves as a U.S.A. Field Hockey Level II Certified Northeast Region coach and coaches U16 Premier Field Hockey for Seacoast United. Technology Goddesses Preschool COV - DC7 - Escondido Program Center
CHILD OF VOLUNTEER - PRESCHOOLERS ONLY This session is reserved for preschool-aged children of volunteers. All other campers and COVs should use the regular camp registration session options and select the COV rate. Not eligible for Cookie Camp. Heres a camp with a technology twist: Drive robots with smartphones, take digital pictures and videos, and learn how to edit them. Brush up your computer knowledge at new, age-appropriate classes. Extra Pointers Kicking, Punting & Specialists Football Camp (Grades 6 - 12) The goal of this camp is to make athletes into solid, competent performers. Camp will expose kickers, punters, holders, and snappers to all aspects of their respective positions: mechanics, technique, game-situation, mental preparedness, and physical training. Campers receive an Extra pointers t-shirt, a printed technique guide by position, and video evaluation. For students interested in attending both Extra pointers camps, June 21-23 & Aug. 2-4 they will receive $50 off the cost of the two camps but must register for the "combo" camp to receive discount.
