Launch & Learn HERO Sports - Launch and Learn
Specialized sports program utilizing biometric exercises that will promote the development of gross motor skills, coordination and balance. Fantastic 6 HERO Sports for 6 weeks! We hold a very special awards ceremony for every HERO once a session is completed. Every kid graduates from a session as a HERO and goes home with a certificate of achievement that they can show off wherever they please. We not only teach sports fundamentals, we also teach the importance of nutrition and healthy lifestyle choices. Camp - Fun in the Sun Wk 3: 4-7 yrs old 7/11-7/15 - Recreation-D.P.S.
The Recreation Department is once again offering one-week day camps that will be held at Lessenger Elementary (30150 Campbell). Campers are asked to wear sneakers/tennis shoes (no sandals, flip-flops or open toe shoes) each day and to bring their own sack lunch (including beverages) unless otherwise noted. Registration fee includes all trips, camp t-shirt, craft and supplies and snacks. For $10 drop your child off at 7:30 am or pick your child up at 4:30 pm, both options for only $20! Fremont Basketball Camp - Fremont Basketball Camp
The Fremont Basketball Camp is for boys and girls ages 5-14. The camps are one week in length, some camps are full days, other camps are half days. This is a summer basketball camp thart emphasizes fun and the fundamentals of basketball. The camp is held at Fremont High school in Sunnyvale during the month of June. Whether youre a seasoned pro or new to the stage, if you love to sing, dance or act, this class is for you! Students will get a chance to hone their singing, dancing and acting abilities. Through the study of musical theatre, vocal/movement/acting technique, and a variety of fun games and activities, we will work our way through the process of putting on a show. In addition to improving performance skills, students will gain self-confidence and enhance their public speaking abilities.
