What will your artsified city look like? Urban installation artists can create just about anything from huge steel sculptures in parks, 40 foot long mosaics in subways, giant murals on sky high buildings, Using inspiration from city life, campers will paint, sculpt and erect a city from the pavement to the sky. Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475

This is a NON-CONTACT sports camp. Each camper will receive positive individual instruction on the game of football. Local 2016 area college football signees along with former Arkansas Razorbacks Clint Stoerner, Tommy Harris, and Matt Harris will be in attendance. Ouachita Baptist University All-American Brent Calhoun, Waymon Johnson, and Dallas Cowboy great Cliff Harris will encourage youth players to work their hardest at the camp. High school athletes, coaches and football staff will work at the camp in order to provide each camper with quality instruction. Each camp session will also deal with the teaching and discussion of character issues such as honesty and sportsmanship. Each camper will get a chance to earn awards at the end of camp day. This is a great opportunity for local young boys and girls to have a great time in a fun camp. Don’t worry parents. There will plenty of water provided… The cost of the camp is $40 per camper. The camp tuition includes all camp activities, a camp T-shirt, hydration station, and lunch. Concession stand will be provided and parents are invited to stay and watch! Musical Improv - Pop Songs Level 2 - Eric Schackne - iO West
Youre making up songs, and they sound pretty great. Everybody thinks so. Yet, youre curious how to make future songs sound pretty greater. This workshop moves past the rigid structure that got your improv songwriting on its feet, and smoothes out the edges. Week one takes you back through song structure and function in finer detail, adding some new ways to build on simplicity. The second week works on two pairs of skills – beginnings/endings & leading/following. Week three delves into the wild world of fancy tricks and slick pop moves to prep your tool belt for heaps of song types. The only requirements are completion of Pop Songs Level 1 and a vested interest in ear-friendly musical makes ups. Taught by iOWest Musical Director Eric Schackne (323) 962-7560
"Kidditch": Harry Potter Quidditch for Kids! - Hopkins Campus
Get on your broomsticks for the most magical sport in the world — Kidditch, or Quidditch for kids! Quidditch is like playing ultimate Frisbee, tag and basketball all at once. In addition to practicing good sportsmanship, safety and teamwork, players will learn the basic rules of quidditch as they try each of the four positions: chaser, beater, keeper and seeker. Some players may even get the chance to play as the elusive golden snitch! 952-988-3463

This camp goes beyond just worms and bobbers. Learn to use various reels and lures to catch a bass, crappie and bluegill. Knot tying, casting, fish cleaning and cooking are just a few of the skills students will learn. For students having completed grades 1-6. (330)423-5101

The All Pro Football camp will teach campers the basic fundamentals of football in an atmosphere that emphasizes sportsmanship, teamwork and the joy of sports. This program is ideal for children who have never played organized football, as well as those who have played youth football for several years. In addition to learning fundamentals, techniques and strategies of the sport, campers will participate in flag football games every day as well as fun games and contests such as "Punt, Pass, and Kick" and "NFL Fast Football". The week will culminate in a fun "super bowl" on the last day of camp which parents will be invited to attend. Participants will get to experience a number of archery games such as Vegas, 5 Spot, 3-D and Flint. This summer camp is all about having fun with friends while mastering their archery skills.
