Come to the University of New Hampshire's annual Outdoor Jobs and Camp Fair Thursday, Feb. 25, 2016, 11 a.m. - 3 p.m. in the Granite State Room of the Memorial Union Building at UNH. More than 40 employers representing non-profit outdoor and environmental agencies, commercial outfitters, summer camps and international travel companies will attend this year's fair to recruit summer and full-time employees. Some representatives conduct on-the-spot interviews. The fair, which is free for job seekers and open to the public, attracts more than 400 students and others from diverse academic fields, including outdoor education, nursing, natural resources, recreation management, theatre arts, business, and equine sciences. Attendees can win raffle prizes donated by local businesses. This is a great opportunity for networking and obtaining employment or employees early on in the hiring season. We are happy to announce we will be teaming up with Summer Camp Music Festival to host an ‘Art That Feeds’ Food Drive in Chillicothe, Illinois from May 22-24, 2015. All food donations will benefit the East Peoria Area Food Bank in Peoria, Illinois. One of our very talented artist is creating a Summer Camp event poster, which will be FREE to patrons who donate 20 non-perishable food items or a suggested monetary donation. Food donations will be collected at the Conscious Alliance ‘Art That Feeds’ Gallery, which will be depicted on the Summer Camp Festival guide and map. Conscious Alliance always encourages food donations to be low-sodium and health oriented products. ORGANIC food donations are especially encouraged. RAMEN NOODLES will NOT be accepted for the free poster. Thank you for your continued support in feeding the hungry everywhere the music plays!

You asked and we responded! Our newest addition…Young Physician II, brings more great projects as young campers delve further into their amazing body systems. Campers will peel back the layers and discover how these complex organs work: learn about disease, how our body fights back, the role of mucus; and digestion, from spit to…. well, you get the idea. They will uncover how the brain works through their own personal webcam, investigate the impact of food, exercise and sleep; and discover how bones and muscles are like cookies and pancakes. They will perform hands-on experiments as they learn about body temperature and fevers, take blood pressures, bandage wounds, and create herbal medicines. Campers will use a microscope, test for germs, map their organs, build a set of teeth, brain and virus models, AND take home their own MD kit. 23rd annual Boys and Girls Grade 5-11 basketball camp traditional style with day, extended or overnighth options Camp begins on Sunday with check-in and registration from 12-1. Camp starts for all campers at 1:15. Day Campers should be at the camp on Sunday from 12-5. Monday - Thursday from 8-5. Camp ends for all campers on Thursday at 4:15 pm. The Specialty Basketball Camp was created in response to the need for a more disciplined learning program in the New England area. This camp is an intense session of teaching and practicing the game of basketball. Our camp emphasizes skills, preparation, and traditional aspects with our Positive Teaching Style. Experienced instructors will build on each players foundation of knowledge and skill and introduce our Advanced Techniques to play the game. CAMP DETAILS Musical Theater: Featuring Songs from The Lion King Disneys Broadway musical, The Lion King, is one of the biggest and most beloved theater shows of all time. And theres no question why. Join us as we not only sing and dance through songs like I Just Cant Wait to Be King and Hakuna Matata, but we will also have the opportunity to work collaboratively to bring Pride Rock to life! Campers will work with professional teaching artist to find creative ways to capture the essence of these animals and characters through puppet making, costume building and other elements of design. An informal performance will culminate this ensemble-building experience. Children spending the full day with us should bring a sack lunch for our lunch break at the park Seussical Jr Week Everyone is invited on our Seussical adventure this summer!
