Develop quick and accurate typing skills in this practical computer program. Daily lessons will include touch-typing techniques, drill sessions to improve accuracy, and tutorials in Microsoft Word & Excel. Tailored activities for beginner or advanced computer-users make this a valuable experience in preparing for the next step in every students career. There will also be some games and competitions to fill out the program. Staff Peter Vitz, a lower school teacher, directs the program. Boys and Girls in grades K-6 will learn to play the fastest growing sport in the United States! Lacrosse is action packed and lots of fun. It has the elements of soccer, football, basketball and hockey. Experienced coaches provided by Jump Start Sports lead the training on all the fundamentals, including: passing & catching, fielding ground balls, cradling, spacing, positioning and defense. Players will be divided by gender and age to play fun game situational scrimmages. Plastic sticks and soft balls will be provided.
