This class gives students a real opportunity, as artists to explore the topic of identity and Family. The results have been creative and exciting. Students explore topics like family, friends, personal exploration, ethnic and racial origins and many others. They have the chance to visualize old and new themes that inform the viewer and surprised the artists. This is a very special class that promotes communications about self-realization through the visual arts, in a safe and supportive environment. HotSpot SUMMER CAMP - Miami, FL
Hotspot Dance Studio offers a yearly Summer Camp that will make sure your son or daughter not only has a safe place to enjoy their summer vacation and be part of activies, but also a place where they will be learning new skills related to performance arts. Hotspot Summer Camp Program will begin Monday June 14th and end August 5th of 2016. Hotspot takes campers to two field trips a week as well as bringing in teachers of all dance styles to do activities! Dancers have the option of doing an end of Summer dance showcase when camp ends. Summer Camp '15 will be here before we know it. The projected dates are August 3rd - 6th (may be subject to change). Total cost is $275 per student. Early bird pricing is $225 and that is ONLY with a non-refundable $125 deposit in by APRIL 1st. After April all deposits are $100 to reserve your spot with total cost $275. Day Camp Session II - St. Johns Country Day School
Excitement awaits the day campers, ages 4 - 13, as they report to their air-conditioned cabins, located on the campus of St. Johns. Grouped by age and supervised by trained, full-time counselors, the campers safety and enjoyment are the primary concerns of each staff member. We also offer a specialized self-contained summer camp program for four year olds. Campers will be under the supervision of our certified Lower School teachers. Activities include arts and crafts, music and movement, outdoor fun, and story time. Children that wish to participate in our four-year-old program must turn four years of age before June 10, and be potty trained. Children need to bring lunch and a change of clothes. Campers enjoy the use of St. Johns 26-acre campus, including its outdoor athletic fields and play equipment, shower and locker facilities, fine arts resources, 25-yard swimming pool, computer labs, and air-conditioned gymnasiums. All campers through grade 4 have swim lessons. Standard guidelines are used to establish swimming levels, and parents receive a report at the end of each two-week session.
