Eco-Explorer After School Club AWARD WINNING PROGRAM **Voted 2nd Place for Best Afterschool Program by Severna Park Voice! Grades K – 8 Mon-Fri 4-6pm (students will be divided up into groups for age appropriate instruction and activities) Throughout each excitement-filled 8 week session, students will enjoy a variety of hands-on FUN activities that are guaranteed to blow their minds! From animal interactions, to games, hikes, some field trips, experiments and crafts. Students will also enjoy guest speakers from various professions such as, veterinary medicine, herpetology (special visits and instruction will be provided by National Geographics Dr. Brady Barr), marine biology, animal rescuing, zoo keeping, falconry, The Brickhouse, Jing Ying Kung Fu, learn about genetics with snake breeder, and much more to see what it takes to have an animal career! Daily lessons include animal care and husbandry, animal training and enrichment, public speaking, research tactics, program planning, team building, and leadership. This program is ideal for students who are interested in training to be an EcoAdventures Jr. Assistant. Constitution Boot Camp XXIII - Milford, OH
We are scheduling our Twenty-Second Constitution Boot Camp for Saturday, March 12th. The cost of the class will be a $20 donation per person with book set. If you have more than one coming from the same family and only want one set of books, it will be a $5 donation for each additional person. MINECRAFT® & 3D PRINTING and CODING Ages: Girls and Boys Entering Grades 4 - 6 Date: June 27 - July 8 Time: 9:00 am - 12:00 pm and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm Format: Two, one week morning and afternoon sessions. Student may register for Minecraft® and 3-D Printing in the morning and / or Coding in the afternoon. NOTE: To register for the Coding ONLY half day session, please see Coding Camp. MinecraftEDU is an expansive game that lets players design and create unique worlds with amazing structures. One of the more complicated aspects of MinecraftEDU is Redstone, which is MinecraftEDUs version of electrical circuitry. This class will introduce students to the many uses of Redstone through a Medieval themed adventure of creation, exploration, and castle besieging, with students making mine cart tracks to help them gather resources, working together to build their kingdom, and designing traps to defend their castle, all with the use of Redstone. 6159487005.0

Classroom: B-7 Instructor: Sabine Kroeber Every child has a story to tell – and what better way than to tell it with their own comic! Students will learn how to design their own cartoon characters on the computer and bring them to life using posing and emotion controls. The use of background, props, speech bubbles and props will be discussed. We will take photos at Valle Verde and import them to create a comic happening at our school!
