LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Session II Volleyball - Cornerstone University
Grades 5-12 (Day Camp) Check-in will be from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM on Monday morning in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Parents are welcome to attend the training sessions and observe. A medical release form has been enclosed and the registration process will move along much more quickly if this form is filled out (or mailed in) prior to checking in. We will begin camp at 9:00 AM throughout the week and end around 4:00 PM. Camp will conclude on Thursday with a tournament all day and an awards ceremony following at 3:00 PM. I encourage all parents to attend the ceremony and celebrate the weeks accomplishments with the campers and coaching staff. 616-254-1671

Middle School Teen Camp 2016 - Augusta, WV
The Theme this year is: LIFE IS MESSY! Registration for this COST FREE week of teen camp begins at 4:30 on Tuesday, July 5th. Activities for Middle School could include (but is not limited to) Boogie Bowling (with strobe lights), laser tag, basketball, carpet ball, ping pong, volleyball, bike riding (Middle School week, helmet required), waterpark, putt putting, water slide, water balloons, swimming, paddle boat riding, playing on playground equipment, softball, hiking, sharing bathroom & shower facilities with other campers, sleeping on floors in rooms at the Church building, worship and recreation,and traveling to activities. Wear clothes you don’t mind getting dirty or stained and bring plenty of towels.

WPC Annual Youth Winter Retreat - Silver Lake, NY
If God threw a party, would everyone be invited? Would You? Well you are all invited to come on the annual Youth Winter Retreat What if Jesus meant something very different by the concepts of heaven, hell and salvation from how we have been taught and understand them? Pastor Larry DeVuyst will lead us to tackle these questions and more as we work through our retreat study from Rob Bell’s book, Love Wins, for Teens. As always there will be fun games, good food, and time with friends. Complete the retreat form found on WPC website youth page and turn it in to my mailbox with a check for $50 by 1/8. We need a count for food, games and supplies so please reserve your spot soon. Pick up the easy to read book from Pastor DeVuyst to read ahead. Don’t let reading the book keep you from attending the retreat. Pastor Larry is looking for appropriate movies where love overcomes adversity. If you have a recommendations please let us know. Teen North African Music, Dance and Culture Camp - Nampa, ID
Travel to Northern Africa and the Middle-East, without the motion sickness or expensive flight. Learn about the music, dance and culture of the area of the world where Africa meets the Orient. It's a whole new world of music and dance! If you only have a Western Music Education, you are missing out on over three fourths of the world's music! Students will attend from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm on Tuesday and Thursday, August 4th and 6th. Besides learning dance moves, students will make percussive instruments and learn to play several N. African Rhythms. Students will learn about the music and culture of this area of the world through music, dance, video, food and art. On Saturday, August 8th, students will have the opportunity to join 1 World Dance in a performance!

ORBC Youth Camp Fundraising Garage Sale - San Antonio, TX
ORBC Youth will be holding a Garage Sale in the Shockley Family Life Center on Saturday, March 5th. Please consider donating items, we all have that pile of stuff that we are ready to donate after our spring cleaning and then let's go SHOPPING at this important event for our youth! Please share with your friends, who doesn't like to garage sale?!?! If you need your donation items picked up please contact our Youth Minister, Ben Miller, for those details. Jr. Space Engineer - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
Using LEGO® bricks, campers will design and build structures and space vehicles for living on far away planets. Campers will utilize a variety of LEGO® bricks including motors, gears, lights, and sensors. Space Engineer includes instruction on the Earth, Moon, stars, and planets as well as the scientific topics of force, friction, simple machines, and gravity. Campers will also join the crew aboard the International Space Station (ISS) to learn about propulsion, friction and more. Counselors will assign specific projects each day that include: a rotating satellite, space buggy, a stunning spaceship, terrestrial homes that can withstand alien atmospheres and a host of other exciting projects. Campers will work in teams to complete their missions. Our camps are 9am-4pm with pre and post camp options available as well! Campers will perform experiments to demonstrate weightlessness in space. They will explore variations between gravity on earth and gravity in space, examine the impacts of weightlessness on the human body, and investigate weather patterns on the moon. They will learn how astronauts prepare for the extreme temperatures in space.Campers will perform experiments to illustrate the blackhole, make a "ghost" appear in a bottle as part of a meteorology activity, explore what happens when air masses collide, and build and use several weather instruments.
