MAS Youth Camp | Sept. 2-5 - Fairfax, CA
Join us for the MAS Youth Camp over Labor Day Weekend 2016. Campers will participate in hikes and sports, nightly bonfires, and listen to uplifting speakers. Spring Break Kid On the Go Sewing Camp - Tulsa, OK
Boys and girls will have a ton of fun in our Kid-on-the-Go Sewing Camp! They will learn to sew several fun items to carry all their necessities when they are out-and-about this Spring Break! Cost is $175, all materials included. Ages 8 & up. We have sewing machines and tools, but students are welcome to bring their own. Class takes place Tuesday-Friday, March 13-18 from 1-3 p.m. Projects: Drawstring backpack, zipper pouch, pocket wallet/change purse, and a sunglass case or tissue pack cover. Young Chemist (HALF DAY ONLY) - San Juan Del Rio Catholic School
This is the HALF DAY option for Young Chemist. It is time for Glues, Brews and Goos! From our stock pile of hundreds of recipes and formulas, we have chosen our top favorite chemistry activities. Campers will love exploring and examining the results of these crazy chemical concoctions! Campers will also realize the importance of measurement and sequencing, especially as they create some edible experiments! These exciting experiments are sure to delight and spark the science minds of our youngest little campers, ages 4 and 5. 3D Printing - United Faith Christian Academy
One of the hottest new trends, 3D printing is perfect for prototyping, CAD development skills, and is just plain fun! 3D printers work by following a computers digital instructions to print an object using materials such as plastic, ceramics and metal. The printing process involves building up an object one layer at a time until its complete. This is an interactive camp designed to teach campers how to optimize designs and create a three-dimensional object of almost any shape from a 3D model. Campers will learn about CAD (computer assisted design), modeling and prototyping, the history of 3D printing, and how businesses and entrepreneurs are using 3D printers for everyday applications. In this session, SHEbot to the Rescue: Saving the World with Robots! , participants will learn how getting involved in building, programming and competing with LEGO NXT robots can lead to careers that help the world become safer, easier, and more. While having fun participant are engaged in teamwork, as well as computer programming, problem solving using math, robot engineering, design concepts, and critical thinking.
