Mixup 7/5 - 7/8 - Rockridge BART - (base of the escalators)
This is our Mixup week. This week we will be moving around the Bay Area taking daily field trips while using public transportation to navigate our way. The week will be comprised of the schedule below*. July 3 camp not included unless added with purchase session option. Day 1: July 4th observed on this day - Camp Day will not be run Day 2: TBD Day 3: TBD Day 4: TBD Day 5: TBD (Days may not be in the specific order above) We meet at Rockridge BART station every morning at 8 AM then travel the city to our destination or destinations. We return to Rockridge BART at 4PM for pickup or post camp day care. *Note: UAC will follow the schedule posted unless issues arise, in which case we will make any and all substitutions equal to the current schedule. 510-339-0676

Spend these weeks immersed in the world of China. Campers will practice Mandarin, create art in the traditional Chinese style, and learn about the cultural experience of the Chinese. This camp is perfect for those just beginning their study of Mandarin and for those who studied Mandarin previously and want the opportunity to practice and grow. Artistic work and activities around culture throughout the week will help campers understand the way language, practice, and beauty entwine in the Chinese experience. Sign up for up to four weeks! ALL NEW CHALLENGES FOR OUR SUMMER CAMPERS! With a hands-on/minds-on approach, students are encouraged to work in teams of two and brainstorm in order to find creative solutions to weekly challenges. Through a process of selecting, building, testing, and evaluating they will improve their problem solving skills to accomplish exciting and fun robotic tasks. You will use your new skills to meet project-based challenges such as creating remote controls and beating your opponent at a LEGO® Sumo Battle...a Brainy Bytes favorite. NJ, Pennington; Winter Elite Faceoff Days - PEAC Health & Fitness
Each Winter Elite Faceoff Days will consist of warm ups, presentation and group practice of specific Elite faceoff techniques as well as real time faceoffs. Elite Faceoff techniques will include footwork, stance, hand position, primary move, counter move, GB play, wing play, stick work, and shooting instruction, etc. Individual player observation and instruction will occur throughout. Clinic will conclude with a skill appropriate king of the hill.
