Camp Anthony Wk#1 - May 31, 2016 - Anthony Recreation Center
Week #1 Lavender Mountain This is the start of a summer filled with Friends, Fun, and Exciting field trips. This first week is a hike up Lavender Mountain. We will swing on the rope swing, climb the tower, and pretend to be logs and roll down the grassy hill. There is nothing like a picnic on the top of Lavender Mountain. New games will be played inside and out at the Anthony Center. The Federal Food Pogram will start today and run till July 22nd. Afternoon snack will be provided. We will be swimming once a week, so you need to have a swim bag ready to go with your swimsuit, sun screen, towel and (flip flops for the time we are at the pool). Incredibly Cool Photography - Old Trail School
Campers will turn their digital snapshots into real photographs, learning how to combine traditional basics of photography, (lighting, composition and style) and blend them into the digital age. Campers will learn how to tear apart a pixel in a digital darkroom and take a photo, even members of their family will like. This camp has plenty of outdoor activity. Campers should bring a digital camera, extra batteries, a USB cord to attach their camera to a computer and a CD or external jump drive to load and save their finished images. Feathers, Fur, and Scales - Vasona Lake County Park
Investigate different kinds of animals from head to toe and from the inside out. Learn how snakes slither and eat without chewing. Study one of natures greatest predators and understand the unique features that allow owls to see small objects in the dark and look behind themselves. Examine bones, fur, feathers, claws, teeth, scales, and skeletons to learn more about these and many other animal adaptations. Meet the YSI animal ambassadors and look for wild animals in the park to see how these adaptations help animals to survive in many different environments. 408-827-5507

HS Robotics Advanced Projects Week 6 - Merrill Engineering Building
A week-long camp for entering 10th, 11th, and 12th graders; or 9th graders who have taken a middle school camp. This is a follow-on course for those who have taken the HS Robotics with Arduino or who have prior Arduino experience. The camp will be more project-based and focus on development of independent skills. This camp runs from 9AM-3PM, M-F. Victory Park Camp Group A 1st week Jun 13 - Jun 17 - City of Pasadena
This activity may not be registered for individually because it is part of a package.Join one of Pasadenas most popular summer camps! Victory Parks Camp has earned its longstanding reputation as a high-quality, fun, affordable, enriching program. Each day begins with a morning pep rally that sets the stage for an action-packed day. Activities include outdoor play, dance, arts and crafts, including painting, sculpting, lanyard making and chalk drawings, fitness activities and enrichment. Enrichment classes include health, hygiene and first aid instruction, cooking classes, computer and robotics play and specialized sports instruction in tennis and golf. Campers spend at least two hours daily doing physical fitness in the form of choreographed dance, group games, fitness competitions, team sports and supervised free play. Campers are escorted across the park to Pasadena High School?s swimming pool for recreational swim two times per week. Camp counselors go into the water with the campers and well-trained, certified lifeguards are always present. Before entering the pool, campers receive a water safety lesson. Optional swimming lessons available for an additional $20/week. Most field trip fees are included in the weekly fee. Fun field trips are often the highlight of the week. Field trip fees...
