Teen Power Camp Begins Tuesday, 1 December! :) - Apollo Beach, FL
It's here! The Fall edition of our Teen Power Camp provides a fundamental fitness foundation for any high school student, scaled to anyone from first timers just trying to get into shape to high school athletes looking for structured off-season training or additional in-season work. The Teen Power Program will introduce athletes to bodyweight exercises, gymnastics, powerlifting and basic olympic weightlifting, all while under the close supervision of a certified CrossFit instructor. Our goal is to teach local Teens how to safely and efficiently move their body and external objects (bars, kettlebells, medicine balls, etc) through space, dramatically improving body composition and improving athletic ability in anyone. Our program is designed to increase stamina, strength, power, endurance, coordination, balance, accuracy and flexibility in any person, all while in a team environment filled with positive people. Every workout is scaled to ANY teens capacity. Teens must be at least 13 years of age and emotionally mature. Tired of the 2D world? Join us for a week of 3D creativity. We will explore the worlds of 3D animation and 3D graphics and printing. Learn how to create and animate your world with Alice 3.0 software. These skills can be used to make movies, games and more. Using SketchUp and 3D printing software, we will create our own objects and then bring them to reality. Find out the steps it takes to get your creation out of the computer and into your hands! SAMO Tennis Spring Break Camp - Santa Monica High Tennis Courts
Camp is open to all skill levels of players. Campers are grouped based on age, ability, and experience. Each camper will receive instruction on the fundamentals of all strokes and will enhance their skills through repetition, ball-feeding drills, live-ball situation and competitive play. USPTA coaches Wilston Poon and Stanford Poon direct all sessions. 04th 2016 Camp, Horse Lovers OVERNIGHT - Blue Point Stables
This "Horse Lovers" OVERNIGHT Camp begins on a Monday at 9:00 am and continues until Friday at 4:00 pm. Campers will be assigned a horse to ride and care for. In the larger enrollment classes, campers share assigned horses. Activities that the campers will be involved with are... Riding Lessons (generally twice a day, weather permitting) Grooming, Stall Care & Management, Equine Characteristics, Arts and Crafts, Horse Health and Welfare and Swimming Pool fun at the end of each day. Plus, making friends or renewing previous relationships with new and returning campers alike. Campers will need to bring appropriate clothing for each day, to include layered warm clothing on cooler days and rain gear when needed. Their breakfasts, lunches, dinners and drinks for each day will be provided by BPS. Daily change of clothing is recommended during the hotter weeks. Sports instruction designed for preschool children to keep young athletes focused, active and having fun. They may explore soccer, basketball, football, T-ball, tennis and golf. Using special kid-friendly terms, your child will learn proper techniques for each sport, fundamentals of scoring, rules and terminology.
