LATEST CAMPS NEWS: FRIDAY : Pre & K Program - Archaeological Mysteries - The Philadelphia School
Join us for an exciting day exploring archaeological mysteries of various ancient cultures. Students will learn about the construction of a pyramid and create a three- dimensional, textural model of this ancient wonder. They will create personal cylinder seals by carving ancient symbols into a rolled cylinder and then imprint this image into slabs of clay. We will also design relief replicas of a series of ancient Geoglyphs located in the Nazca Desert in Peru known as Nazca Lines. Choice games, indoor and outdoor activities and a mid-morning snack of a delicious Turkish food will be provided. Please have your child bring a lunch including a beverage. Please pack a lunch (including a beverage) in a disposable bag. For the safety of our students, please DO NOT INCLUDE PEANUT BUTTER or any nuts in your childs lunch. Students are required to wear a red t-shirt on all trips. The program will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with drop-off available in the yard beginning at 8:00 a.m. (at no extra charge). **Extended day is available from 3:00 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. for an additional $20. Harris, 2X Super Bowl Champion Gary Clark formerly of the Washington Redskins and Tessa Wilborne and Jamie Brown of Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices would like to invite your child to an NFL experience of a LIFETIME !! Cost: FREE WHO CAN ATTEND: Spotsylvania residents ages 6 to 18 years of age. WHERE DO I REGISTER MY CHILD: Each participating child must register at www.yourNFLexperience.com Registration will start promptly at 8AM each day at the entrance of the football stadium with the camp starting at 9AM. Your child must be picked up by 1PM at the same location. Elite College ID Camp Male - University of Tulsa
The Elite ID camp is a specialized technical course designed for the player to achieve their maximum potential and gain familiarity with the University of Tulsa soccer program and school. This camp is ideal for the player who is interested in playing at The University of Tulsa. Sessions held during this camp will be led by University of Tulsa Mens coaching staff. They will include technical and tactical training sessions rooted in the Tulsa training philosophy, small sided and full sided games and a brief video analysis session. In addition we will have separate training sessions for goalkeepers and we will provide insight to some of the off field aspects of our athletic program and educational strengths of our university. Campers are responsible for their own meals, lodging, transportation and supervision. All sessions will be held at the University of Tulsa. There are several housing and dining options around campus. Additionally, MNSS has arrangements with a host hotel group rate and potential shuttles to/from hotel. More information is on our website camp information page.
