The Michigan Coed College Prep Camp includes two full days of instruction conducted in a low-pressure, safe, and fun environment on the University of Michigan campus. You will benefit greatly from this camp if you are interested in trying out as a college cheerleader anywhere across the nation and especially at the University of Michigan. Emphasis will be placed on individual instruction in coed partner stunting as well as tumbling, dance, strength and flexibility. We aim to ensure individualized attention and safety for each camper. It is the intent of the entire University of Michigan Cheer Team Staff to provide each camper with the best possible atmosphere in which to learn and sharpen their cheer skills. The techniques and skills that we will help you develop will give you a big head start over your competitors. Tween/teen Yoga Camp - Camp Hill, PA
The focus for this program is to inspire and empower tweens and teens and to establish a deeper sense of self respect and self discipline so they can live a more balanced and fulfilled life. We will empower tweens/teens through journaling, breathing practices, meditation, aerial yoga and mat yoga. We'll have fun and learn to trust others and ourselves through partner yoga poses. Though drop in students are welcome, we encourage participants to enroll in the the entire four week program because each week we will build upon the lessons of the previous week. Camp runs 5-6:15pm on Tuesday, July 19 and 26th, August 9 and 16. Please note there is a break the week of August 2. A minimum of 4 students is required to run the program, so please register early! A refund will be given if the minimum number of participants is not met. There will be a maximum of 8 participants, based on the number of aerial yoga hammocks, so pre-registration is required. CAMP DETAILS Musical Theater Week Thank you for the music! In this camp, students will have fun exploring their own personal voices through songs and dances from various musicals! In addition to drama and improv games that foster theater skills in creativity, self-expression and teamwork, campers will create their own show that incorporates songs from their favorite musicals. Throughout the week we will also work together to create prop, costume and set pieces to use in our culminating original show that highlights our collaborative efforts! Every day a Guest Olympian or an Elite Athlete will stop by to tell you their story and answer your questions. Youll leave with a plan and access to your camp coach through emails and phone calls until the end of cross country season. You can even bring your coach back home into the conversation. Whats Different? We love the camps with 200 runners sleeping in tents and getting crazy. Thats not this camp though.
