My son looks forward to this camp every year!
Children with intellectual and developmental disabilities enjoy summer camps as well as anyone else does. My 10 year old son is intellectually delayed. He looks forward to this camp every summer. In fact, he keeps asking us how many days until camp? He likes to swim, make crafts, sing and learn new skills at summer camp. Experienced staff will provide new and exciting adventures each day! Campers will participate in activities including group games, crafts, songs, nature hikes, sports, swimming and weekly field trips. Each week will be a different theme, with activities and entertainers. Every camper will receive a camp shirt. Please make sure to note shirt size on registration form. Please dress appropriately for camp. Tennis shoes required; no sandals. During inclement weather, camp will be held indoors. This is the Ultimate 100 Camp Invite Only event for current 7th, 8th, and 9th Graders. It will be located in Atlanta, GA. If you are invited from the Southeast Region you should register here. In Skyhawks tennis programs, players learn proper grips, footwork, strokes, volleys and serves during a series of drills designed to teach skills in a fun and dynamic way. Athletes also learn the rules and etiquette that make tennis an exciting game. Due to limited court space, these programs fill quickly. participants should bring racquet, appropriate clothing, two snacks, a water bottle, running shoes, and sunscreen.
