LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Mini Mulligans Tour at Naval Academy Golf Course - Naval Academy Golf Course
The Mini Mulligans Tour will consist of 10 events in the Greater DC & Baltimore areas. This tour is a developmental tour, targeted towards beginner juniors ages 6 to 9. Ages 6-9 – Should have some basic golf ability e.g. can grip and swing a club. Divisions 6-7 year olds - They will play three holes. Better players may play up into the next level. 8-9 year olds – They will play six holes. If you are 10 year old that is not that experienced or isnt ready for nine holes. Tees All Mini Mulligans play will be from the Gold Family Tees. Ten-Shot Rule A player shall take no more than 10 strokes before reaching the green on a hole. Once 10 strokes are reached, the player must pick up his ball and place it on the putting green. A player shall take no more than 4 putts per hole. Pull Carts Pull carts are allowed for use unless prohibited by the golf course. Caddies Parents are allowed to caddy for the child playing in the Mini Mulligans Tour Event. Dress Code 1. Pure Gravity Fitness's Annual Kid's Circus Camp!! For kids ages 6-12. We'll be exploring movement and the many aspects of circus performance. Bio: Carol Pharo, Harry Potter Drama Club instructor, first explored the adventures of Harry Potter with her drama students at the International School of Amsterdam. Other themes included The Sound of Music, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, and The Hobbit (with original music). She has continued working with these favorites in Centre County where she has also directed all-children casts for the operas Amahl and the Night Visitors, LOrfeo, and a ballet version of Winnie the Pooh. Ms. Pharo has taught at the Arts Conservatory, the Joan Kennedy Dance Center, The Music Academy, and the Academy of the Performing Arts. The Harry Potter Drama Club, for grades 3-8, is a young actors training, drawing upon the adventures of Harry, Ron, and Hermione. This drama class will emphasize variety in vocal expressions and timing along with effective posture and gesture. There are parts for everyone, and favorite parts are continually switched, so that everyone has the opportunity to play the character of his/her dreams! The Hewitt School - The Hewitt School
Hewitt Clubhouse is our full service after-school, mini fun camps and summer camp program for children in grades k-8. Our mini camp and after-school offerings are available to Hewitt girls only. The program runs daily during the school year. Classes include chess, karate, swimming, science, and culinary learning. Most Clubhouse sessions begin after school and run through 4:30pm but others have a later dismissal time based on the activity. For families wanting more afterschool care there are options for an extended afternoon until or 5:55pm, with opportunities for homework help, indoor games or outdoor play. DMSA Boys & Girls Day Academy - University of North Florida
The DMSA Day Academy has established itself as North Floridas Premier Summer Soccer Day Camp. It is specifically designed to teach skills, tactics, and fundamentals of soccer. This will be accomplished by individual instruction by our highly qualified coaching staff and age-specific curriculum. The environment will emphasize fun.
