Students will use basic drawing techniques to learn how to tell a story through pictures. While focusing on composition and design, students will explore how to communicate an idea through an illustration. Students will work with stories written by other students as part of the Grannie Annie project. At the end of the course, students will have the opportunity to submit an illustration for possible publication in Grannie Annie, Vol. 11. 314-628-1024

Youth Ballroom Theatre Camp - Asheville, NC
Inviting all young talents (6-18yr) to attend an afternoon of learning and fun! This camp is designed for beginner to intermediate dancers. History Comes Alive with Classical Theater - Wizard of Oz - Location: Center for The Creative Arts
This is a truly unique course especially designed for the home-schooled that incorporates history, literature, and performance. This classic novel/play will be interpreted and performed as students discuss the playwright and the time in which the author lived. History comes alive as students also create living portraits of imaginary and real characters during that period of history. The Wizard of Oz is a beloved classic. A cyclone carries Dorothy and her dog, Toto, to the magical land of Oz, where they encounter all the famous characters from the pen of L. Frank Baum... Dorothy, the Cowardly Lion, the Tin Woodsman, the rubber-legged Scarecrow, Glinda the Good Witch, Oz, Munchkins, Winged Monkeys, The Witch of the North, and the evil Witch of the West, who is determined to destroy Dorothy and steal the secret of her magical slippers. Little Red Spying Hood Production Fee Payment - Seacoast Repertory Theatre
Little Red Spying Hood is a PAPA Youth Workshop Production and is an audition-based program. There is a production fee of $95 per student to participate in the production. Students rehearse on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 4-6pm and some Saturdays from 10:30am-12:30pm. Session II Individual Skills Camp - Alaska Airlines Center
These camps are designed to give campers the opportunity to fine tune/learn fundamental skills by teaching and correcting campers mechanics and techniques. The skills covered will include passing, serving, setting, hitting, blocking and floor defense. The camp will be led by current UAA Head Coach Chris Green and staff. Space limited to 48 campers. Tennis: Summer Camp - Chickahominy Middle School
Fees: $100, additional sibling fee $90 [ ] Are you ready for a great summer of tennis? Well have so much fun - games, music, candy, awards, team pictures, t-shirts and lots & lots of tennis! Campers will learn all of the basics of tennis and more! The morning camp will end with an ice cream and awards party, and the evening camp will end with a pizza and awards party.
