Do you really love paintings by Vincent van Gogh? How about glass sculptures by Dale Chihuly? What about the illustrations of Charlie Harper? Awesome Artist Campers will explore every medium, create art and be inspired by artists new and old, the masters and the contemporary. If you learn from the best, you too can become an Awesome Artist! Exploring clay, drawing, painting, 3D construction and more, participants will complete an assortment of individual and group projects in each weeks theme, culminating in a showcase at the end of each camp, followed by the unveiling of an installation at our 9th annual Fall Out of Summer Arts Festival in September. 401-490-9475

How Are Staff Members At Camp Trained?
During staff training, counselors and other staff members are trained in basic youth development, behavior management and common issues, group formation, diversity and cultural competency. Common issues like homesickness are also touched on, and counselors are reminded of the importance of encouraging youth to reach their full potential. The camp’s culture and mission as well as the schedule and related activities are also explained in full detail. Additionally, staff learn basic first aid and how to manage different emergencies.

Walworth Family Reunion Notice! Date: August 12, 13, 14, 2016 Arrive: 6:00 p.m. on 12th Depart: 4:00 p.m. on Sunday the 14th Camp Fees: My contract says $550.00 per day for 50 people. $10.00 per person per day over 50 people. Children 7 and under are free. This may change a bit but not much if it does. Food: We have traditionally hosted and pd. for the Friday night meal as we aren’t traveling. Saturday 3 meals, and Sunday 2 meals will be provided for the actual cost of the food, and divided by the total number of people coming. Children 7 and under are free. All of you who have come to the Lion’s camp in the past are familiar with the Nazi who was running it. I am pleased to announce that she is no longer there. A wonderful lady by the name of Jessica Thomas is running it now. Her and I discovered today that the Nazi manager wrote us into a different date than I was told at our last reunion there. As a way to fundraise for our annual Ignited Youth Camp, CTF's youth group, Ignited, hosts an annual talent show where youth showcase their talents through song and dance, comedy, magic tricks, baked goods, fresh-brewed coffee, and so much more. Session 1: Aug 8-12 * 7th-9th Grades - Icicle Creek Center for the Arts
7th-9th Grade film campers in are in for a fun and exciting hands-on introduction to the media arts in a beautiful natural setting. Start the week filming around the natural beauty of the Icicle Creek Campus, followed by two days of editing and post production. From concept to final cut, young filmmakers will experience each step of the creative process and experiment with new technologies. Campers will learn how to conduct a meaningful interview, handle a camera, set up a shot, record audio, and even shoot aerials from a drone. And once the footage is all gathered, of course, it all has to be organized and edited. By the end of the week, campers will have planned, shot and edited their own movie and well cap it all off with a family screening complete with popcorn! Campers will use STEM and different materials to engineer, design, and build a bridge. After building their bridge, campers will then test their bridge to see if it is strong enough to hold up an object. Together well build a city full of bridges! 603-703-1408

In this multi sports camp we combine four sports into one fun filled week. Athletes will learn the rules ans essential skills of each sport along with vital life lessons such as respect and teamwork. (Soccer, Baseball,Basketball and Flag Football) LOCATION MS - Gymnasium at Ellington Middle School

Boys and girls will enjoy age appropriate activities that include: dribbling, trapping, shooting and soccer games. Whether your child is a beginner, intermediate player or experienced club player, our camp will provide the training that will best fir their needs. The goal is to provide the opportunity for each child to develop gross motor skills and nurture his/her growth socially and emotionally through teamwork and good sportsmanship in a safe and supportive environment. Please bring soccer/running shoes, shin guards, lunch, water, snack, and sunscreen. Young gymnasts will tumble and twist their way through floor exercises, mat skills and motor skill stations as they build flexibility, strength, endurance and self-confidence. Skills such as forward rolls, cartwheels, jumps and partner stunts are introduced as well as exercises and techniques for balance and coordination.
