Intentional programming focuses on increasing youth’s social and developmental skills. Increased confidence and self-reflection happens when staff members push campers outside of their comfort zones. Youth learn a lot about themselves and the world thanks to team-building activities, icebreakers, and a well-rounded curriculum. Kids finally feel like they can be themselves without worrying about bullying.

Grandview Overnight Camp - Penn State Behrend Athletics
The Grandview Basketball camp has been the premiere resident basketball camp in Northwest Pennsylvania since 1970. The foundation of fundamentals and character development instilled by camp founder Bill Flaherty is still the basis of Grandview. The Grandview staff consists of some of the most accomplished coaches and players in Erie basketball. Generations of Erie basketball players have been impacted by the Grandview camp. The camp offers something for everyone, from the beginning player to the aspiring college prospect. Recently we added the varsity division for players in Grades 11-12 and it was a big success. Little dancers love this enchanting adventure in dance exploration. Children develop rhythm, grace, poise, coordination, and musicality through pre-primary classical ballet, beginning tap skills, tap routines, and improvisations with magical props and adorable costumes. Our dance class enriches your child in five areas of development: physical, creative, social, cognitive, and emotional. Children receive a gift that lasts a lifetime, the joy of dance! Advanced Computer Camp - Pi Edition - Transylvania University
Experienced computer students are given the opportunity to work on advanced projects. This camps theme will involve the Raspberry Pi computers as a low-cost experimenters platform. Morning and afternoon programming sessions will begin with a short lecture, then you will be allowed to address several challenges in response to the topic covered in the lecture. Learn at your own pace, but instructors will be available to help if you have questions or problems. Evening sessions are reserved for independent work and network gaming. During camp, participants will live in a Transylvania residence hall and eat three meals a day in the dining hall, beginning with breakfast on Monday. Campers can also use Transys library, computer laboratory, and recreational facilities. Internet service will not be available in the dorm rooms. Campers must have attended a previous Transylvania computer camp or taken some programming classes at your high school. If you do not have this background, please consider registering for our Introduction to Computer Programming Camp, scheduled for June 12-17. Enrollment is limited to 35 campers. The application deadline is May 1 and confirmations will be sent by May 15. If you are not selected for camp, your camp fee will be refunded. 859-233-8300
