This Boy Scout Ranch Camp was established in 1983. My 14 year old son would not miss signing up for this summer camp. Nestled in over 200 miles of rugged country it is the perfect place to camp and explore nature. Our son liked the diverse topography of the land. Ready for a new challenge? Advance your throwing skills and create bigger and better pots on the pottery wheel. Learn in a small group environment where you will receive individual instructor attention and have access to your own pottery wheel throughout the week. Improve on the details of handles, feet, rims and design elements and explore different ways to glaze your pots before they are fired in the kiln. Campers will take home finished work at the end of the week. Prior knowledge of the basics of centering, pulling up, and forming pots on the wheel is required. 919-677-7839

In this camp you will get introduced to Arduino. You will learn to build cool electronic projects using Arduino Micro controller board and make your projects interactive by writing simple programmatic logic using Arduino programming environment. In Drawing and Discovery, young artists ages 6-11 will explore fundamental concepts of line, texture, shading, and color through the fun, creative, and age-appropriate projects. Students will try their hand at figure drawing, portraits, volume and perspective, and experiment with professional art materials. Students will work independently or as a group according to their age, level of experience, personal interest and individual artistic style. Note: This class will be offered continuously during the year, allowing students to progressively develop skills in visual literacy, perception and creativity progressively.
