Kid's Summer Camp, Arlington, VA - June 27 - Sept. 2, 5 yrs to 14 yrs old. Recess All Summer Long! Set your kids up for a lifetime of healthy habits! - Each week your kids learn to set and achieve small goals - We teach and inspire healthy habits with food, exercise and personal care - We help them develop coordination, sportsmanship, and respect - We help them learn to overcome challenges both physical and mental - We help cultivate confidence and social skills OUR PHILOSOPHY We embrace kid’s natural curiosity, creativity and love of games to help them enjoy a healthy lifestyle and be fit for life! We do all this in a safe and encouraging environment. A TYPICAL DAY at Summer Day Camp for Kids - Let’s Stretch! – Yoga (non‐spiritual) that is creative, fun and a learning experience. We teach why stretching is important today, next week, next year and in 10 years! - Nutritional “Labs” ‐ We will discuss a symptom, for example, being grumpy and irritable and explain blood sugar, how it is affected, and what you can do to feel better through the right nutrition/eating healthy. - Recess/Exercise – Fitness that is fun – we make a game...
Work Weekend - Holcombe, WI
Always work to do to get the camp ready for the campers. Two roofs will have steel installed on them, cleaning of the chapel and some of the cabins, yard work. We will also be switching the shop and the game room so lots of hands will be needed there. At least 9 holes of miniaturegolf will be moved to the area around the garage (soon to be game room). Food will be provided. Let us know if you will be staying overnight so some cabins will be cleaned and ready. For those staying over Saturday night there will be a chapel service on Sunday morning. Lots of hands make light work so join us for a weekend of working, fishing, fellowshipping and enjoying God’s great outdoors.

What could be more suited to summer than an adirondack chair! In this camp you will use the systems engineering process to plan, design, then build just the right size adirondack chair for you. During this process kids will not only be taught how to use tools safely but also develop their woodworking skills by using real tools and learning all about the designing process. This is perfect for that summer fun in your backyard! Includes all material costs and kids get to take their adirondack chair home to relax! (858)964-0645

Grades 3-6 (Day Camp) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center (it will not begin before 8:00 AM). Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. League play will begin at approximately 2:00PM and generally will end around 3:30PM at which time you may leave for home. (*Note: These times may change depending on the number of campers in attendance). More information about game times will be posted in the arena on the first day of camp after the teams have been selected. Animals within a food chain have some important adaptations for hunting and survival. Learn about top predators like orcas, sharks, giant squid, and osprey and find out some incredible strategies the prey of these predators utilize to avoid detection.
