Is your child excited about camp but not quite ready to spend the night? Good news! Timberlake offers Day Camp every Wednesday of regular camp for children from Kindergarten to 5th Grade. Each Day Camp offers a rotation of different typical camp activities. We provide lunch for every camper, and they are put into small "cabin" groups, always in the care of our trained staff. NOTE: Preregistration for Day Camp is not necessary. If you wish, you can simply register and pay when you arrive at camp. Schedule 8:40-9 am - Check in (Follow the signs!) 9:30-11:30 - Rotation of games, camp activities 11:30-12:30 - Lunch and change for swimming 12:30-3:00 - Boats, swim time and camp store 3:00-3:30 - Bible Time with the camp pastor 4 pm - Pick up time What to Bring Wear clothes that can get dirty and muddy. Body Contact & Checking Camp - LC Ice Arena
Body Contact/Checking Clinic - Bantam, Midget boys Bantam, & Midget - $350 RMHS is coming to Lewiston for a Checking/Body Contact camp for Bantam, Midgets. The players will be separated into groups by age and skill level. This will ensure the players will be training against players of their skill level for the best possible training environment. During this clinic we will focus on proper body contact along the wall and in the open ice. The RMHS staff will focus on proper body positioning for both giving and receiving body contact. These skills are important to learn for the players where body contact is legal and for the non checking leagues. ATTENTION GOALTENDERS - Every RMHS camp will offer professional goaltending instruction from one of our professional goaltending coaches. We limit theses spots to four goaltenders per group. MATCH PLAY: Campers get to put into practice the skills theyve learned by playing matches. Singles and doubles strategy, ladder matches, exchange matches, and Davis Cup competition. Play will take place on clay and hard courts. Campers need to be able to serve and keep score. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Please bring one new unopened can of balls on the first day of camp. Sneakers must be non-marking. Campers provide their own drinks and snacks. Play will take place outdoors so sunscreen and a hat are highly recommended. A music band camp designed to allow five to seven year-olds a positive and powerful first experience with music making. Students get to explore all of the instruments, choose songs, and learn parts in a social, playful, fun setting guided by a skilled facilitator who seamlessly integrates learning with playing. MYGB will continue to offer its Quran program with the hope that this program will help our youth bond with the Quran through this experience Inshallah. By the end of each session of MYGB Quran program participants will have developed: *- greater appreciation of the words of Allah; *- better ability to read and recite the Quran; *- better understanding of some of the basic concepts addressed by the verses repeated in the short chapters. The program will also have a memorization component based on the youths abilities and readiness for memorization. All teachers and volunteers have tremendous experience working with youth in this particular field. Groups will be divided by age and then by competency level. Extreme Adventure Camp is a two week coed camp for incoming 7th and 8th graders. The first week consists of adventurous activities and field trips based out of our Butler Campus. Field trips include indoor rock climbing, mountain biking, and kayaking / paddle boarding. There will also be numerous activities and adventure games at Butler Campus, including our Project Adventure high ropes challenge course. (Campers must bring their own bike and be proficient in cycling and swimming.) Week 1 will prepare students for our Extreme Adventure Trip (June 20 - 24) in Fayetteville, West Virginia, where campers will camp in tents, go rafting, rock climbing, and go on the tree top canopy tour and zip lines! *Please note participants must be twelve years old at the time of camp; demonstrate the ability to follow directions; and complete a skills assessment before going on the West Virginia trip. 216-455-0154
