This special two-week camp provides preschoolers with a fun introduction to zoology, botany, physics and chemistry. Activities are the same each session during the summer. Camp projects change from year to year, but we do repeat many favorite projects. Parents are welcome (but not required) to attend the first few classes. Children must be toilet-trained and able to use the bathroom independently to attend. Participants in this camp MAY NOT sign up for Science for Kinders. What Staff Members Are On Site?
There are a number of trained staff on site. They undergo staff training to better understand the mission, policies, and schedule of the program. Different camps have different ratios. The smaller the ratio, the more individualized attention a camper will receive. For example, a 1:3 ratio means that there is one staff member per three campers.

This holiday season we are inviting our Campus Life Alumni to Come Home For Christmas. On Thursday December 17th we invite you to join us from 7pm-9pm for a Campus Life Alumni open house. This is a great opportunity to see how the building has changed, share Campus Life memories, and hear how Campus Life is still giving life to so many kid’s stories. Do you enjoy telling stories with pictures? Do you love looking at childrens books and picture books? If the answer is yes, then youll love Illustration Camp. In this week long camp, we will learn about the process of illustrating a story. We will discover our imaginations, learn basic techniques, and develop an understanding of designing characters. Teresa Assenzo is an Instructor of Fine Arts at Saint Marys School. Ms. Assenzo has a B.F.A from Kendall College of Art and Design, an M.F.A. in Fine Arts from the California College of Arts and Crafts, and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Western Michigan University. She has taught at Western Michigan University and has worked with children of all ages at art museums and institutes. Ms. Assenzo has also illustrated and published books for parents and children, has done free-lance writing, and has done art and writing with diverse groups of children and adults.
