Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run - Kearney, NE
Please join us for our Spring Mini Youth Rally and Mud Run! Starting friday night we will have devos, activities and an evening ending campfire! Saturday morning we will have breakfast and a devo as we get ready for the Mud Run! The Mud Run starts at 10:30 AM with registration beginning at 9:45. The cost for the Mud Run is 35 and the cost for the mini youth rally is 10. Even if you dont want to participate in the Mud Run we invite you to come out to the mini youth rally and help us cheer on those that are! All proceeds go towards our general scholarship program! While some of these programs do provide valuable advice, most of them are filled with poor choices that, if followed, will get you injured or killed in a real emergency. Without proper training, separating the fact from fiction can be a difficult task. Our primary focus this week is to teach participants the practical skills that will save them in a true emergency. While a number of Traditional Skills will be introduced, our goal this week is to provide participants with a pragmatic skill set. For instance, spending five hours building a lean-to when it gets dark in 20 minutes is not a practical choice. Trying to build a bow-drill fire kit from scratch without a knife and without properly seasoned wood in the damp environment of the Pacific Northwest is rarely practical. Although those types of skills will be demonstrated, we will challenge you to perfect the basics first – like carrying a small fire steel and a couple of cotton balls...

Wolf Mountain Teen Camp - Grass Valley, CA
Teen Camp is for all teens going into 7th grade through those who are graduating this year. Come Join us for a fun filled, spirit filled week of awesome games, food, and preaching. We will be hold a Registration Sunday on March 6th at which time all completed registration forms and a $50 registration fee are due to recieve a discount on the total cost of camp. KidSport Afternoon: Tennis & Golf, 6/27 - 7/1 - Scarlett Middle School
[] KidSport Afternoon: Tennis and Golf Each week features a different sport teaching basic fundamentals skills, rules, team building and sportsmanship and open swimming time. Director: Kerry Winkelseth, UM School of Kinesiology. Campers bring snacks and water. Afternoons, Monday-Friday. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Curbside Drop-off. Staff will pick-up your camper from your car at 1:00 PM and bring your camper to your car at 4:00 PM. KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Acting and Auditioning Studio Workshop - The Georgetown Palace Theatre
This 3 week workshop puts an in depth focus on the skills needed to succeed in theatre and performance. Working with professional performers, directors, and teaching artists, students will receive instruction in Acting, Vocals, and Dance including: -script analysis -improvisation -monologue technique -physicality -breaking down lyrics -finding the story of the song -basics of a professional musical theatre audition -choosing songs that showcase YOU -finding a 16-bar cut -working with an accompanist -stretching and warm up -basics of musical theatre dance -moving like a dancer -dance auditions (how to make it out alive) The workshop culminates in a feedback audition to introduce you to local theatre professionals on Friday night as well as a student designed performance of skills on Saturday morning.
