Volleyball Camps - Volleyball - St. Paul Gym
Bump, set, SPIKE! Boys and girls will both enjoy this lifetime sport by learning the proper techniques for serving, passing, setting and hitting on the hard court. At the end of each day, new skills are applied in a game setting, and effective teamwork and good sportsmanship are emphasized. Campers should wear comfortable clothing for movement, tennis shoes, and knee pads (optional). Food Cart Freewheelers will again bring campers around the city with one great ambition: to find the best lunch, while exploring the foodie side of Portland through its many food cart offerings. Campers ride to a different food cart pod everyday and learn to budget and plan their spending. Campers can look forward to broadening their understanding of cycling and cuisine, and experiencing the empowerment of earning a hot lunch with a week of riding. This non-credit review course is designed for rising seventh, eighth, and ninth graders. Successfully completing the course (and passing the summer reading quizzes and tests on any book studied in the class) will satisfy the summer reading requirement for students enrolling at MUS for the 2016-17 school year.
