Services every day at 10 am and 6 pm with guest ministers Joseph Larson and Grace Brumley, as well as ministers from Truth Chapel. Services are open to all ages. Be a Civil War Soldier: Kid’s Camp - Mansfield, LA
Have you ever wanted to be a Civil War soldier? Are you between 8-12 years old? Mansfield State Historic Site is hosting an “immersive” event that will allow you to experience what many of the soldiers of the American Civil War did. Be enlisted, set up your camp, drill, enjoy a period type lunch, and more! There are 16 slots available for this program and pre-registration is required. Registration is $25 (paid on day of program) for each child, which includes the meal. The last day for Pre-Registration is April 8th. Rookie Basketball Skills - The Cambridge School
The rookie program offers repetition and teaches FUN-damental instruction for each player to allow the player to build a solid foundation. Lower baskets are used to reinforce proper shooting techniques and for players to build confidence in themselves. In this interdisciplinary class, students will look at and analyze the work of Edgar Degas. Students will experiment with similar postures, movements and phrases in relation to Degas work. This is a great opportunity for students to re-interpret the artwork through movement. No dance experience required. Students should wear comfortable clothing and socks.
