LATEST CAMPS NEWS: Opti Race (Session 1 AM) - NESS
Prerequisite: Opti Green Fleet/instructor recommendation Students will work on more advanced boat handling techniques, including roll tacks and jibes, and will be introduced to more racing tactics, strategies and techniques. Sailors will learn what it takes to progress to the next level of Opti racing and will be expected to compete in local Opti regattas where Red, White and Blue fleets are formed by age. Having your own racing level Opti is an advantage at this stage and students are encouraged to bring their own boats. All students will be under the supervision of our race coach in class and at specific local regattas. Last summer we supported and coached our sailors in 7 local day-long Opti regattas and expect to support about the same number of events this year. Regatta fees are not included. 860-535-9362

Lil Leapers Kid's Camp with Teya Johnson - Folsom, CA
Lil Leapers ages 3-10 will enjoy a daily yoga camp where they can discover peace education through yoga, mindfulness practices and self-awareness. Students will be learning tools to help them get through stressful days in the classroom and at home. Yoga games, inspired-reading and visual vignettes will help keep the summer fun going while providing useful skills to take-home and share. Girls Soccer: Preseason Prep Camp - Hopkins Campus
Join Blake varsity soccer coach Lindsay Youngdahl for a preseason prep camp to help you gear up for the upcoming fall soccer season! This camp, like the Blake soccer teams, will emphasize teamwork, leadership, hard work and good sportsmanship. Activities will include large group warm-ups, individual skill development and small group competitions. Bring a soccer ball, shin guards, water and sunscreen. Junior High Camp - Camp Ithiel
Middle school students are invited to attend our Junior High camp! Middle school is a period of life where youth are learning about themselves and about others. Theres no greater place for young people to do that than at camp. Campers will spend the week playing exciting games like 9 Square in the Air, singing their favorite camp songs, reconnecting with old friends while making new one, canoeing and so much more. Whats not to love about Junior High camp?! Session II Girls Basketball - Cornerstone University
Grades 7-11 (Overnight/Commuter Camp) Commuter campers follow the same daily schedule as the overnight campers. They are free to leave after league play (9:00PM) Check-in will be Monday morning from 8:00 AM to 9:00 AM in the Bernice Hansen Athletic Center. Please look for postings to help make this time easier and more convenient for all. Parents, we will register your child as quickly as possible so that you are able to get to work on time. Each day we will have fundamental and team practice in the morning. Free time will be from 2:30 to 4:45. Campers may go back to their dorm to relax, play pool, ping-pong or stay in the gym and watch the camp counselors play basketball. Dinner is from 4:45 to 5:30 with league play from 6:00 to 9:00. If you are a commuting camper attending an overnight camp week, the cost of your dinner meal is not included in the camp tuition you paid. Therefore, you may purchase a dinner meal plan for the week at the time of registration. If you prefer, you may also pack a dinner meal for each day or be picked up by your parents to go home/out for... 616-254-1671
