Outland Studios Kid Day Camp - Cambridge Springs, PA
Session begins July 11th and ends July 14th from 9 am - noon every day with a final gallery show just for the kids on July 15th at 4pm. Outland Studios kids art day camp! We will explore all the possibilities of the art world in fun and exciting ways. Have your child come and learn about different art mediums and explore their expressive side. Activities will include: Making a Camp Totem Pole (crafting) Exploring the World of Painting ( Acrylic, watercolor, etc) 3D Art (earthen ware and experimental mediums) Art in Nature (Sketching and an outdoor hike) and a Final Mural Piece to be displayed with all of their other work from the week in a Kids Exclusive Gallery Show on the 15th! All kids participating will receive a mixed medium art tablet, charcoal pencil and eraser sets, a paint brush and a kit to keep all of their supplies in! All supplies to create their pieces are provided by Outland Studios. Parents are more than welcome to stay and help or watch their children grow! Week 5 Would you like your child to learn how to express themselves mathematically? This week is designed to help children ages 4 through 12 to see mathematics as an activity that can be described through the use of language. Technology, engineering challenges, digital investigations, and manual calculations are combined and designed to immerse campers in the grand challenges of making everyday life easier.
