The camp will explore subjects such as behavior, biology, science of flight, birds? jobs in nature, diet, husbandry, and the importance of conservation and biodiversity. Under close adult supervision there will be hands on interaction with real, live birds. Each day one or two different birds will visit camp. Camp will include education, scrapbook making, crafts, feedings and creative play. Please send a healthy snack with your child each day. My daughter wouldn't miss going to this Lutheran camp!
This Lutheran Bible Camp is one of the oldest summer camps in America. It was founded in 1926, and is my daughter’s favorite camp. She has fun meeting other youth while strengthening her faith. She also enjoys swimming, arts and crafts and singing around the camp fire. We make sure to plan other summer activities around this summer camp time, so she won't have to miss going to camp.

Hotspot Dance Studio offers a yearly Summer Camp that will make sure your son or daughter not only has a safe place to enjoy their summer vacation and be part of activies, but also a place where they will be learning new skills related to performance arts. Hotspot Summer Camp Program will begin Monday June 14th and end August 5th of 2016. Water, water everywhere, undeniably one of the most crucial elements to life on our planet is water. Yet how many people understand the basics of this life giving resource? Use investigation, observation, and exploration to understand more about this amazing resource. Do hands-on experiments involving dropping, spraying, heating, and freezing and discover the mysterious properties of water and how it changes to different states of matter. Explore the local watershed to see how water moves and changes shape along its path to the sea. Search the creek to look for critters that live in or near water. EV3 SPACE ROBOTICS, MINECRAFT & STOP MOTION ANIMATION - The Derryfield School
Explore the stars! The Star Wars universe will be our guide as we tackle the challenges and adventures of space exploration. Participants will learn how to build and program their own planetary exploration droid in order to find the Rebels a new planet to put their base. Build and program your droid to navigate unseen areas, collect and test samples, and even film its exploits! Participants will learn how to use sensors to help their droid maneuver through an unknown land, in order to collect and test samples and bring back information to the Rebels. Children will even be able to have their droid record its adventures using a smartphone. In the afternoon campers will learn about circuits and Redstone to build Rebel bases on hostile worlds filled with traps and defenses to protect them from the Empire. Later we will take on the role of the Empire and attack each others bases to test their defenses. Children will learn how to camouflage their base into its surroundings (using hidden doors and other techniques), as well as how to use Redstone to create traps and other defenses against the Empire.
