No theme, just great fun creating wonderful pieces of artwork while using a mixture of artist quality materials including clay, watercolor, paint, soft pastels, oil pastels, Art Stiks, illustration markers, Aqua Stiks, and more! Try your hand at Zentangle patterns, printmaking and collage to create mixed media and 3D designs. As students work in these different media components, they will culminate in self-discovery and creation of original art projects with a distinctive flair! Bring lunch, snack and water. Youre making up songs, and they sound pretty great. Everybody thinks so. Yet, youre curious how to make future songs sound pretty greater. This workshop moves past the rigid structure that got your improv songwriting on its feet, and smoothes out the edges. Week one takes you back through song structure and function in finer detail, adding some new ways to build on simplicity. The second week works on two pairs of skills – beginnings/endings & leading/following. Week three delves into the wild world of fancy tricks and slick pop moves to prep your tool belt for heaps of song types. Athletes will improve skills with sport-specific drills and are matched with others of similar ability. A 2 ½ day Super Sport Olympic Games competition with be held starting Wednesday afternoon with prizes and 2017 WW-P Athletic Sport Camp scholarship awards.
