If you have a heart for mission, love being at camp and the desire to become a camp volunteer or counselor then this LIT camp is just for you. Youth 6th – 9th grade are invited to put faith into action and join us for one or both of these Leadership camps where we will focus on Christian Leadership and Discipleship. LITs will spend part of the week enjoying traditional camp fun and the rest of the time shadowing our trained staff in leadership development and faith building activities while serving as mentors and junior counselors to our day campers. KidSport After Camp Care Week of 8/8 - 8/12 - Scarlett Middle School
After Camp Care for KidSport the week of 8/8 - 8/12 Parents/guardians come into school to sign out and pick up camper. -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- KidSport offers children the opportunity to learn and refine non-competitive sport-specific, team building and social skills. The activities are age appropriate and developed by experts in childrens physical education. KidSport is staffed by certified teachers as well as physical education and education majors focused on providing a first-rate experience for your kids! Scholarships are available from UM KidSport at www.kines.umich.edu/umove.kidsport [] Application deadline is April 30. This camp is not eligible for Rec & Ed Scholarships. Mt. Hood Session 1 - 14 & Older - Mt. Hood Academy House
Your daughter must be a 14 and older ski racer to participate in this camp. Session 1 at Keelys Ski Camp is seven days, three days on snow, one day off and then 3 days on. Summer is an opportune time to develop and improve technique, for this reason we emphasize drills each day of skiing. The first day focuses on free skiing and drills. Day 2 & 3 are more drills and gate training. Day 4 is OFF and we offer fun activities either in Hood River, rafting the Deschutes River, or a trip to Portland. Day 5,6 & 7 include more gate training, free skiing and drills. Day 7 is also the travel day. At Keelys Ski Camp many of the all female coaching staff are recently retired from the U. S. Ski Team or are still racing at the highest levels (Olympic, World Cup, Noram, NCAA and FIS). Each day on the hill the coaches offer world-class visuals by training with and coaching the girls. 406-581-4991
Junior Summer Camp (Ages 10-16) 10AM-3PM - Grantwood Golf Course
The golf camps at Grantwood provide a safe and fun atmosphere for juniors of all skill levels to play golf, build friendships and create lifelong memories. Our camps are staffed by PGA Professionals and instructors who focus on all important aspects of the game including putting, chipping, full swing, on-course play and rules and etiquette. Registration fee includes all golf fees, range balls, refreshments, lunch daily, prizes and more! This is a great opportunity for the aspiring avid junior golfer to learn many new aspects to improve scores and enhance their enjoyment of the game. CAMP COLLEY OVERNIGHT YOUTH CAMPS Overnight Youth Camps are designed to teach riding skills, horse care, and outdoor recreational skills. Life skills such as responsibility, empathy, and communication are emphasized in each activity. Campers ride a minimum of two hours per day in a series of riding lessons, games, and trail rides. Camp Colley partners with Hunkapi Horse Programs to provide overnight camps. This unique partnership will give campers additional opportunities at camp including, but not limited to, hiking, nature education, mountain biking, archery, and arts and crafts. Campers depart from the Kiwanis Ramada near the Splash Pad at Fountain Park at 8:30 AM on Monday and return at 4:00 PM on Wed.
