Alive Kid's Camp - McKinney, TX
Kid's Camp is just around the corner for kids ages 8-12. We will be headed to the district camp this year, called Alive Kid's Camp. We are looking forward to meeting kids from other churches, having life-changing spiritual experiences during the services, and lot of fun activities during the day. Daytime activities will include: swimming, lake activities, paddleboats, ziplining, rock climbing wall, and messy team games. Cost is $250 per student. $100 deposit and all camp forms found in the camp packet are due by April 12. The remaining balance will be due by June 7. Camp packets are available now! Kid’s Camp at Posh is a wonderful and creative activity for the kids while they are off school for break! 10am-1pm…Ages 4 and up! $24.00 for 3 hours includes a painting class with step by step instruction through the painting of the day, games, face painting, and more! Pizza lunch available for $6.00+tax additional or bring them lunch from home! Each child will leave with a piece of artwork that is uniquely theirs! No experience, set-up, or clean up necessary! This is a soccer camp for kids entering grades 4 - 8 emphasizing FAITH, FUN, AND FUNDAMENTALS. Campers will learn that the quest to develop as a soccer player "mirrors" the quest to develop as a Christian. Each day will begin and end with prayer. The themes for each day applying to both soccer and the Christian Life will be commitment, practice, growth and teamwork. Campers wishing to sign up for Sessions I & II can do so with this registration process. Session I: Day session from 8:30 am-3:30 pm Session II: Night session from 4 pm-8 pm (only 4 nights--no Friday night camp Boys and girls in grades 4-11 Every camper will take a short break between the end of the Day Session (3:30) and the start of the night session (4:00 PM) to rehydrate, have some snacks and get refreshed before transitioning to the night session. Campers coming for the whole day should bring snacks/lunch/drinks...bring a ball or purchase a camp ball from our camp store....come ready to play. Session I (days) is different from the night session. Session I offers a traditional style camp with regular teams and games. This camp introduces Front Web Technologies while providing a strong emphasis and foundation in Back End Web Development. Students learn to write server-side code in Python and connect a website to a database to drive dynamic content. 425-786-7824

Objectives: To design and furnish room, presenting findings as a Powerpoint or other presentation, using items from the IKEA and Best Buy websites. Session ends with a trip to IKEA.
