Design beautifully detailed Star Wars® vehicles and power them with a LEGO® motor, battery pack and gears. Students experience the excitement of a motor - how this device can transform a stationary object into a moving one. Projects include the Millennium Falcon, Reys Landspeeder, R2D2, X-Wing fighter, and Snow-Speeder. Students construct the motorized projects, then customize the design, and play with and share ideas with other campers. Builders are sure to have the force with them in this camp!Students take home a LEGO® mini-build and camp T-shirt. Students do not take home the LEGO® projects or pieces from the class This is an afternoon half day camp for 5-7 year olds. Great Escape is partnering with Pleasant Hill Parks & Recreation to host a week long bowling camp. Attendees will be divided into age groups to learn fundamentals such as approach, delivery, hand position, release, spot bowling, and spare conversions. Certified bowling instructors will be instructing the camp. Creative Writing: Imagination Station - Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory School
As kids grow and mature, they sometimes begin to lessen the value of imagination within the context of their writing. This workshop will teach your children appropriate methods by which they can explore creative writing in academic and non-academic settings. Most importantly, it will remind them to value and nurture their imaginations. Activities will include journaling, community creativity circles, character creation, short story drafting, and more. Mr. Chuck Wagner earned his MA in English from the University of Kansas and his MFA from Indiana University. He has taught Creative Writing for 19 years at BJPS and has formerly taught Creative Writing at Indiana University and Franklin College. Email Mr. Wagner directly at with questions. 3175247050.0

Singers and dancers, this ones for YOU! Instructors will give campers a taste of the Broadway stage with blocking, vocal techniques and group performance tips. Campers will make simple props, and learn to work together as a stage team. There will be a short production for family and friends on the last day of this marvelous, musical camp.
