Film Crew 102 - Independent Film Making Winter 2016 - Plymouth Community Arts Council
Class meets: January 17, 24, 31, February 7, 28, March 6, 13, 20 No class February 14 or February 21 Everyone has a story. In this course, students will learn how to express themselves through the visual medium of motion pictures. Students will create an individual, independent film based on a story from their own life. We will work together through the entire process, from writing the story basics, and sequencing, to exploring setting, props and costuming. Free film making apps will be utilized. Students should bring their own digital device to use for filming. A few will be available for use onsite and for editing sessions. Shooting, Scoring, & Conditioning Camp The full spectrum of the RMHS developed stickhandling progression from basic dribbling to advanced puck control concepts such as puck protection and creating space will be the foundation for this camp. Also covered in depth during the stickhandling portion will be passing lanes, vision, play away from the puck, support, and the proper execution of advanced fakes and dekes. All conditioning drills will be based on the European Training Method of incorporating pucks into all skating drills to ensure proper puck control skill and habit development. Fundamental knowledge of how to properly train ones body for athletic competition will be discussed, stressing proper work to rest ratios, hydration, and optimal physical conditioning. Advanced powerskating drills will also be included, focusing on speed and power development while conditioning. ATTENTION GOALTENDERS - Every RMHS camp will offer professional goaltending instruction from one of our professional goaltending coaches. Kiddie Cat T-Ball 2015-16 (K3, K4, & K) - St. Lukes Japonica Campus
Games played on Sunday afternoon. This is a six (6) week session. Time depends on number of teams - 1st group at 2:00, 2nd group if needed, at 3:15. Boys will receive a t-shirt and ball cap, girls will receive a t-shirt and visor. Players may wear shorts or baseball pants per coach decision, and regular tennis shoes will be fine. Players should provide their own bat and glove - YDL provides helmet to use, but you may provide your own if you so choose.
