We offer a nurturing, child-centered environment where children can develop independence, respect--both for themselves, others and the world we live in, and a lifelong love of learning. Your childs first experience with tennis will be great fun-- Coach Joce- lyn Rock will be using slower-moving and lower-bouncing balls as well as using a smaller court size with lower net. Her goal is to help young children gain confidence in tennis faster and realize the joy of sports. We will work on hand-eye coordination, tennis strokes, and cooperative play. Children will need their own sized 19-21 racquets or Coach Rock will have some to purchase. 202-724-8950
