This upbeat camp will incorporate learning both cheerleading and dance skills. Designed for grades K-5, this camp focuses on the basics of jumping, tumbling, chants, motion technique, dancing, and more! The camp will include a final performance to showcase their routine for family and friends. Birdie Bombers (Ages 5-9) - Whitetail Ridge Golf Club
Do your children love to: play games, run around, jump obstacles, roll down hills, make friends, and have FUN? Do you think they would love to do all that, while they learn how to GOLF?! The answer is, undeniably, YES! Birdie Bombers Program will introduce FUN golf related exercises and activities to our existing golf instruction! We will spend roughly 30 minutes on basic instruction, along side 30 minutes of FUN activities and exercises! All of our youth baseball, basketball, football, tennis, and swimming camps have been implementing FUN activities to build strength, speed, endurance, and hand eye coordination. Years of research has taught us how important Fitness and Nutrition is to the golf swing. The balance learned from walking across a balance beam relates directly to the balance required for a great golf swing. The speed and weight transfer involved with swinging a golf club can be improved by throwing a ball as far as they can. Simply rolling down a hill will teach them body control and rotation which is directly related to the golf swing. Grades K – 8 Mon-Fri 4-6pm (students will be divided up into groups for age appropriate instruction and activities) Throughout each excitement-filled 8 week session, students will enjoy a variety of hands-on FUN activities that are guaranteed to blow their minds! Campers will become advanced forensic scientists for the week! Campers will analyze and gather evidence for a number of fictitious crime scenes, use luminal and UV light to detect the presence of blood, complete a blood splatter analysis, take crime scene photographs, complete a drug and poison analysis. Campers will also gather insects as from our rotting carcass (pork chop) as they discover how CSIs use their entomology skills to determine time of death.
