Are you looking for a way to work on your golf game during the long winter months? Now you can in UKs state-of-the-art indoor training center located at the University Club of Kentucky. Join Head Coach Brian Craig and Assistant Coach Ben Fuqua for our Winter Training Camp in the UK Golf House. Campers will enjoy eight three-hour training sessions on Thursday evenings beginning January 21 and running through March 31. Each session will consist of a 90 minute small group instruction with individualized training (max of 6 golfers per small group). Our coaching staff will focus on improving the golf game of each camper. The facility will also be available for use by the golfers for an additional 90 minutes on each date. Our facility has everything needed to effectively train the serious golfer, including indoor heated hitting bays and an extraordinary indoor short game area. The UK Golf House is also packed with the latest technology such as Trackman and SAM PuttLab. All of these features and technology are there for one purpose…TO MAKE YOU A BETTER GOLFER. Summer Camp Registration will begin Saturday March 21st at 10AM. Sign up for CAMPS including LEARN TO SWIM PROGRAM with the City and County of San Fransisco. This can be done in one of 3 ways: 1. At any neighboring registration site, such as Hamilton Recreation Center. 1900 Geary Blvd (@ Steiner) ***Please make sure you sign up for the correct swim lesson level for your child. If you sign up for the wrong level it could result in a withdrawal without refund for the class. We limit all students to a total of two classes for the season, both of which must be of the same level. This camp is designed for the junior player ages 4-6. All classes will be taught with the new USTA 10 and under teaching style. Classes are designed to develop athleticism, hand eye coordination and movement skills in a non-competitive cooperative environment. This will be a fun introduction to tennis. Fencing Camp: Foil, Sabre And Epee - McLean Community Center
No previous training needed. Often called ?the physical game of chess? and ?the noble sport?, fencing requires mental strength and quickness, and improves coordination, balance, speed and grace. Campers use the Foil (a light training sword) and are introduced to Sabre (the modern equivalent of the cavalry sword) and Epee (the modern equivalent of the dueling sword). Safety tipped swords, protective jackets, masks, and gloves make fencing one of the safest sports. Fencing camp taught by the Virginia Academy of Fencing Equipment rental fee: $49, make check payable to VAF.
